• a. State of New York DOT, region 3, replacing culvert carrying New York Route 336 over Kendig Creek
• b. NYS Water & Sewer Infrastructure Co-funding Initiative announcing one-day workshop, Sept.11 in Rochester at the Cowne Plaza Hotel, on Sept. 26, in Painted/Corning Holiday Inn (registration is required) 1-800-882-9721
• c. Finger Lakes Railway Corp., Payment-in-lieu of Taxes for 2007 to Town of Varick: Check in the amount of $586.20
• d. NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets: notice of State assistance payments for Farmland Protection Implementation Projects. All proposals must be received by September 17, 2007
• e. NTS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation regarding Cobblestone House at 5102, Route 89 for nomination to the National and State Registers of Historic Places
• f. Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council regarding Census 2010 to help create a local Update of Census Address information to work with contacts within our Community
• g. Time Warner Cable seeking renewal of its cable television Franchise which expires on March 8, 2010
• h. State of New York Unified Court System requesting the Town Justice annually provide their Court records and dockets to their town boards, and be examined or audited and entered into the minutes of board’s proceedings with the most recent audit and copy of board resolution acknowledging this audit was conducted be mailed.
• i. Received from Varick Tax Collector a check of $3,283.77 representing penalties and interest for 2007.
• j. NYS DOT has scheduled a Public Outreach meeting, 10 a.m., Wed. July 25, County Building, Supervisor’s Board Room, to give the proposed program of projects in Seneca County for the 2007-2012 program.
• h. Judge Case: information of legislation from Village of Larchmont and City of Yonkers concerning harboring dangerous animals
